This week we’re engaged on our ultimate blocks and the middle sq..

Under is all the data it’s good to put together earlier than

For Block 9, you will want:

(These notions are simply my suggestions)

• Materials (1 darkish material, 1 accent material, and 1 gentle background material)

• Sew Daisy Cloth Markers

• Artistic Grids® Stripology Mini Quilt Ruler or Ruler

• Aurifil Thread – 2370 beneficial

We can be making 4 whole Block 9s and 1 Middle Sq..

Slicing Instructions:

Start by chopping 1 darkish material, 1 accent material, and 1 gentle background material:

6″ Completed Block

• 1 Darkish Cloth – 1 middle sq. 6½” x 6½”

• 1 Accent Cloth – 4 squares 4″ x 4″

• 1 Mild Background Cloth – 4 squares 4″ x 4″ and 8 squares 3½” x 3½”

9″ Completed Block

• 1 Darkish Cloth – 1 middle sq. 9½” x 9½”

• 1 Accent Cloth – 4 squares 5½” x 5½”

• 1 Mild Background Cloth – 4 squares 5½” x 5½” and 8 squares 5″ x 5″

Choose material for 1 block. You’ll need 1 gentle background sq. (4″ x 4″),
1 accent sq. (4″ x 4″), and a couple of smaller gentle background squares (3½” x 3½”).

For 9″ completed block, choose material for 1 block. You’ll need 1 gentle background sq. (5½” x 5½”),
1 accent sq. (5½” x 5½”), and a couple of smaller gentle background squares (5″ x 5″).

Block Meeting

Place 1 gentle sq. (4″ x 4″) proper sides collectively on prime of 1 accent sq. (4″ x 4″) as proven above.

For 9″ completed block, place 1 gentle sq. (5½” x 5½”) proper sides collectively
on prime of 1 accent sq. (5½” x 5½”) as proven above.

Utilizing your ruler and material pencil, draw a diagonal line and pin both sides as proven above.

Sew 1/4″ away out of your draw line. Subsequent, minimize on the road.

Open models and press to create Half Sq. Triangles (HSTs).

Trim to 3½” x 3½”.

For 9″ completed block, trim to five” x 5″.
