After I spied this assortment again in February, I knew I had so as to add it to my stash!  It combines two of my favourite issues: a beachy theme and a pink, white and blue shade palette.  The papers arrived final week, and I couldn’t wait to drag out my fussy reducing scissors and get busy!  This 6″ x 8″ blended media collage was the tip outcome.

Lighthouses at all times win my coronary heart…and this picture with the keeper’s cottage at its base is so dreamy and pleasant.  I’ve nestled it amidst some fairly blue flowers that I dry brushed with white chalk paint, scattered shells and hovering sea gulls.  (OK…true confession…these usually are not seagulls.  They’re doves.  However we are able to faux, can’t we? )

Salt-Sprayed Seahorse

Spattered white chalk paint lends the phantasm of salt spray on this good-looking seahorse.  Within the video tutorial, you’ll get to see how I layered all these components collectively to create a way of depth and dimension.

A Bottle Stuffed with Shells

Actual sea shells and sea sand draw the attention to this candy little bottle of shells that I tucked into the collage.  Don’t you simply love a pink, white and blue seaside assortment?
