I am so excited to share these photos! I painted this mural for the Wright Brothers oyster bar, to celebrate their residency with Chateau d’Esclans at Battersea Power Station.
The wine and oyster bar is on the historic Coalings Jetty, which sits on the Thames, under the iconic Power Station structure. If you haven’t been down to Battersea recently, it’s well worth a visit to see the new development, including the Jetty. It’s a beautiful destination to meet friends for an afternoon glass of wine, and of course to see my mural.
The design of the mural is inspired by wine label from “The Pale”, which features large pink circles on its label. The bright colours of the mural really popped against the grey of the Thames.
