
Kelly Taxter, who from 2013 to 2021 served because the Barnett and Annalee Newman Curator of Up to date Artwork on the Jewish Museum in New York, has been introduced as the brand new deputy director of the nonprofit Artists House farther downtown. After leaving the museum in 2021, she briefly served as director of the Parrish Artwork Museum in Watermill, New York. With Pascal Spengemann, she cofounded the New York gallery Taxter & Spengemann, which from 2003 by means of 2011 represented artists together with Lutz Bacher, Frank Benson, Xavier Cha, Adam Putnam, Kalup Linzy, Wardell Milan, and A.L. Steiner. A 2017 alumnus of the Getty Management Institute, Taxter earned her BFA on the Faculty of the Museum of High-quality Arts, Boston and Tufts College her MFA on the Middle for Curatorial Research, Bard School.
