
The following designer to be featured in Inventive Quarters is Emma Rees aka Dainty Forest.
Emma Rees, is the illustrator and designer behind Dainty Forest.
She gained her BA and MA in Visible Communication and shortly after graduating, she started her design profession in London working for a prestigious reward ware firm, creating patterns, packaging and merchandise and travelling to India to supply materials and create new merchandise.
After a number of years of dwelling within the massive smoke, Emma moved to the midlands to pursue her freelance profession, designing for plenty of excessive road manufacturers from a tiny however pretty studio in an outdated mill in Derbyshire.
She went on to design for small companies and realised that is the place her true ardour lay.
In June 2018, Dainty forest launched with a small assortment of prints and Emma secured her first stockist, Handmade Nottingham and continued to develop her assortment.
Dainty Forest has not too long ago celebrated its first birthday and now features a wider vary of prints, greetings playing cards, illustrated flashcards for little ones, mirrors and a tote bag!
The vary is stocked in plenty of variety of impartial boutiques throughout the united kingdom and several other on-line marketplaces.
With a robust concentrate on typographic parts and a fragile color scheme, Dainty Forest goals to have a bit one thing that everybody can take pleasure in.
Emma splits her time between designing for pretty small companies , rising Dainty Forest and working after her toddler.
She loves to assist different small companies and is out there for commissions and collaborations.
