Our sketchcrawl this month is predicated on the Artwork Pavilion in Mile Finish Park, the venue of our ‘London by City Sketchers’ 10 12 months Anniversary Exhibition from 8 to 16 October
On the coronary heart of London’s previous East Finish, vibrant Mile Finish has a variety
of sketching alternatives. The world is bounded to the west by Regent’s
Canal, with its vibrant houseboats, working locks and bridges alongside
the award successful Mile Finish Park. To the east are the well-preserved
Georgian terraces centred on stunning Tredegar Sq.. Grove Street and its
continuation Burdett Street run north to south, and have a variety of
city structure and scenes.
Our sketchcrawl takes place on the penultimate day of the London by City Sketchers exhibition — the proper alternative for an ‘up shut and private’ view of greater than 100 drawings by City Sketchers, a lot of them on the market.
